BeeBodi Visits Blue Nile

For the first time BeeBodi visits a historic landing in Washington, DC-- a Black owned business since the 1970's that house herbs, supplements, and holistic living resources: BLUE NILE.

Both the owner and his wife was there fulfilling in orders for customers and shuffling around the shop. Accompanied by friend and colleague who suggested the shop in BeeBodi's quest for White Shea Butter for dry skin/eczema.

The quaint shop was humbling and yet impressively well stocked with loose leaf herbs.

Today, BeeBodi was looking Echinacea a blood purifying herb that can be use for skincare treatment or in a detox cleanse.

We walked away with the shops's last bit Geranium Essential Oil to put in a special order made recently. It's said that this EO is used for pain relief, balancing hormones, charging the emotions and intuition. Geranium is strong and should be diluted with a think oil or water for a spray; perfect for Women's menstrual cycle to mediate mood swings and extreme emotional fits. And finally, Ginger Powder of which was add to a personal mixture of heated White Shea Butter and Matcha Green Tea to stimulate blood vessels and increase circulation when applied topically. *A Jamaican remedy to use Ginger for healthy elastic skin.

What a fulfilling trip to BLUE NILE it was today!
