Why go to the Beach just to Read??! | The Power of Travel Wellness

People travel for all sorts of reasons — a break from work life, a change of scenery, meetups, tourism, personal discovery, to indulge in the delights of food, events, and culture…. for me, it’s to enjoy a good book.

Yes, I know. Paradise Beach water is hard to come by. It usually costs $300 USD + a car ride and paid parking ticket and bathroom stall privileges just for a visit. True readers like myself, keep an average of (3–4 books) at a time in rotation — thanks to Audible, Kindle, and Epub Readers.

Each piece of literature feeds a different part of the soul — an insatiable longing to be fulfilled in this life. There is something about pairing it up with the surrounding sounds of nature that moves me into a space where my mind can be free from impending disruptions — where I can fully immerse myself inside the world of the text while the sound of the waves crashing against the shore behind me or on the horizon in front of me takes place — so peacefully.

Beach Body is Santa Monica, CA

By the time I’m three chapters in, an hour has passed and I haven’t even touched the water. Or, the water hasn’t touched me. That’s okay. Instead, I’m getting a live ASMR experience where I can truly let go. A neurological sensory wash where I become water itself - my body in complete submergence.

Floating, Gliding, Lifting, Sailing…I believe the Beach and a Good Book a Soul Mates — I am just here enjoying its DIVINE Alignment. It feels great. And even more so when I know that I’m getting up to 3.5% cashback to my bank account because I booked my trip with GreenbookGlobal.
