Resistance in the form of Existence

Each Day, I am enamored by the new activations, innovations, events, gatherings and ways in which we as a people have managed to stay connected. This pandemic is a bright eye-d wake up call for everyone to turn to and tap into what is most important.

Today an offering of share space where discussion was had amongst brilliant Creatives, Entrepreneurs and Community Leaders led me to this affirmation: that Existence is Resistance. It is true. Many of us have dedicated our lives to retaining the integrity of culture, history and presence of Black and Brown people--but now that we are shifting and redirecting to a more purposeful course of ACTION it is beautiful to see the light shining in places that have been withheld in darkness for so long. 

And whatever it is your take on the Black Lives Matter Movement, however you contribution big, small or even at all....please know by hearing & reading this message that your existence (and care for what is taking place ) is just as powerful and impactful. Please continue to commit in a direct yet peaceful and tactful way, so that we can break the cycles of insanity that have us going around and around in circles. Let's live out the DREAM of Peace and Freedom. 

Now that Summer is here it is time to have FUN!!!! 

And although we are at a distance there are ways in which we can flip the script to help us see with a different view. So together let us focus on: the LITTLE Things, using our large imaginations to create a space of Wonderment, Fun & FREEDOM.
