Medicinal Cannabis. Yay or Nay?

There has been talk around the subject of whether marijuana should be legalized in this country, for years. On a large scale we've heard of certain medical conditions such as Glaucoma (a chronic stigma of the eye) of which marijuana treats. However it's been proven, shown and advocated for--the aiding effects that cannabis carries on various health conditions including chronic pain. The controversy comes in where the use of cannabis for recreational purposes or general lack of self-control exploits it's legitimacy *and even that can be argued on from a cultural point of view*.

The basis of the marijuana usage is such that the THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) causes a chemical response in the body that results to a feeling of a "high"--a psychoactive effect of the brain; state of euphoria. There are alternative products that promote instead the CBD (cannabodiol) properties of cannabis that can be used medicinally treating: chronic pain, anxiety, emotional distress, inflammation, hyperactivity, etc. without the effects that of THC. Per my travels, I happened upon a shop in Albuquerque, New Mexico that produces and sells products with CBD, called: The Sacred Garden.

If you ever find yourself in the area, check them out or browse their social media page.
